For my first blog post, I will give a brief summary of the 2008 humanites week.
Day1-
In the two and a half years I have spent in Pisay, I have grown accustomed to the opening of humanities week with a "Konan" dance performed by the first years. This has been a tradition and I think it goes back to even prehistoric times. This dance requires countless hours of practice and suffering for the freshmen, much to the delight of the upperclassmen. During my Konan dance, the grandstand was packed with upperclassmen, excited to see our awkward dancing under the unbearable heat of the morning sun. This was also a highlight of my humanities week celebration last year, watching batch 2011 dance in the heat with a wet field.
This year, however, we saw none of that. I don't know who exactly ruined the humanities week opening celebration exactly, but I do think that it was the new music teacher, "ms. t", conspiring with the new director and the SSD. First the Ramayana, and then this?
So, moving on with the review of what happened, this humanities week was awfully hot, thanks to AL GORE. There were games which were organized by the Student Alliance *ehem* and they were surprisingly fun. Or at least some of them. The best part was that I was an officer and I organized the games along with the other officers. After marshalling two games, I was VERY dehydrated and the 4th year CO's were only letting people out one by one. I tried talking to them, saying that I was an officer and that i marshalled two games, but the very smart and
VERY MACHO CO's still wouldn't let me. I transferred to another exit, and another very smart and very dashing CO officer, along with his minions, wouldn't let me out either. After waiting for an hour, I cursed and shouted my way out. yes. I did.
That was all I remembered about the first day. Saka sawa nakong mag-english.
Day 2-
KKKwiz. Talo. Sobra. HAHAHAHA
Sobrang nakakatawa yung teammate kong 4th year. nung una ang yabang nya. sabi nya "ok lang yan. kung walang masagot babuyin na lang natin. relax lang kayo! di naman kelangan manalo eh."
Pagtapos nung 3 rounds nang katangahan, sobrang natatalo kami tapos nung last question binaboy ko yung sagot. tapos sabi nya "Uy wag!" Tinanong ko kung baket. eh wala naman kaming masagot e. tapos sabi nya "wag nga sabi eh. di ko nga alam kung pano ako haharap sa section ko neto eh." LOL.
Day 3-
DIKUM. 2nd place. dabest.
MAY RING NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
pera ko yung isang ring. Php 2250 isa eh. tae ubos pera ko. hahaha yung isa pa pera ni KC pati ni Marv. wala kasing kwenta yung SA president eh. walang pakialam. puro babae nya inaatupag.
Perfect day nun e. Dikum 2nd place, NAGKARING, tapos antagal pa naming nagkasama :-> (nung bola ko. hahahaha). YEAH.
Day 4-
PURO BASKET. nag-uusap kami ni sarah nung dismissal pagtapos nung fashion show tapos dumating mom nya. astig. nakakatakot. grabe.
HIDEO IS SOOOOOOOOO HOT. Day 5-
closing ceremonies, TALENT FOR A CAUSE.
K BAND DABEST.
IDOL KO SI ADRIEL CHENG. nagbayad pa ng 3k para magbaboy. hahaha
